ERS-1 SAR multitemporal image of flooding in Northern Europe in January 1995. This image was created by superimposing two synthetic aperture radar (SAR) images and assigning different colours to each. The first image was acquired on 21 September 1994 and the second on 30 January 1995. Flooding areas appear in blue. The data was acquired at the ESA/ERS Receiving Station in Fucino, Italy, and processed by the ESRIN and EURIMAGE/Earth Watch Teams. [Image Date: 23-02-95] [95.02.017-001]
