Go to topicI-DISCARE equips groups of Mobile Teams located directly at the disaster site with PDA's and Portable Telemedicine Work Stations to communicate with Mobile Field Hospital's, a Permanent Centre or Reference Hospital located outside the country. The MT's are further equipped with GPS for Real-Time localisation and data transfer.
The immediacy of care which I-DISCARE makes possible enables early patient identification and quicker and more traceable data collection resulting in faster triage and better care.
