The candidates visited the simulation facility at IMBP
The final eight candidates for the 105-day Mars500 study were put through their paces at the Central Clinical Hospital of the Russian Academy of Sciences in Moscow. For several days they underwent extensive medical examinations. The candidates also visited the Mars500 facility at the Russian Institute of Biomedical Problems (IBMP).
