SISNeT helping the blind

ONCE (Organización Nacional de Ciegos Españoles), the National Organization of Spanish Blind people has developed a system based on SISNeT to guide blind people in built-up urban areas. The system called “Tormes” is a computer with a Braille keyboard and satellite navigation technology that gives verbal directions.
