Eurobot Ground Prototype (EGP) and space suit mockup, ‘Aouda.X’ with Long Term Medical Survey System (LTMS) were tested in Spain, Mars-like terrain of Rio Tinto mines, in April 2011. The tests were interrupted occasionally by rain and wind.
The field test campaign was organised by Austrian Space Forum (ÖWF) together with ESA and prof. Felipe Gomez from the Centro de AstroBiologia institute in Madrid.
