Sir Harrie Massey

Sir Harrie Massey (1908–1983) was an Australian influential mathematical physicist. Massey was the first chairman of the British National Committee for Space Research, the first Chairman of the European Space Sciences Committee, and was instrumental in founding ESRO, a forerunner of ESA.
