The backward-looking image of a stereo pair in the Noctis Labyrinthus region of Mars, captured by the ExoMars Trace Gas Orbiter’s CaSSIS camera on 22 November 2016.
The orientation of the image comes from the rotation angle of the telescope not being perfectly aligned to the ground-track of the spacecraft.
The image scale is 7.2 m/pixel and the images correspond to an area on Mars about 15 x 45 km.
