Bottom of Galileo

An engineer performs a theodolite position measurement, reflected in the mirrored bottom side of a Galileo Full Operational Capability satellite. Within this panel of the satellite is where Galileo's quartet of atomic clocks are mounted. The white-coloured object seen bottom left is the S-band antenna for telemetry, tracking and telecommand signaling; there is one on each side of the satellite.
