Worldwide DORIS stations

The French ‘Doppler Orbitography and Radiopositioning Integrated by Satellite’ , DORIS, system relies on approximately 60 stations worldwide, transmitting radio signals whose Doppler shift when picked up by satellites can be measured to identify corresponding movements in the satellites, or in the stations themselves. Some of these stations are co-located with other reference techniques, namely Satellite Laser Ranging and Very Long Baseline Interferometry.
