Matas analysed how the proposed Argonaut lander could impact the lunar surface when landing to identify measures to protect the Moon’s environment; Ahid created a virtual reality lunar environment designed to test how a remote manipulator could be used to carry out tasks on the Moon; and Joseph developed an innovative remotely controlled robotic hand, or “end effector”, for in-orbit servicing and lunar activities.
