The 2019 edition of the Space App Camp was held at ESA’s establishment in Frascati, Italy, in September 2019 and brought together 24 app developers from 9 countries. The goal was to come up with innovative and off the beaten track ideas for apps using Earth-monitoring data – particularly from the European Copernicus programme – and make satellite information accessible to the everyday user through smartphones. In this short video, participants talk about their experience, why they attended and what they hoped to achieve.
