A general presentation of the NASA/ESA mission Ulysses. Using mainly computer animations, this programme explains how and why the space probe takes measurements over the poles of the Sun. Together with a summary of the involvement of the different partners, the programme, since it was written as Ulysses passed by the southern pole of the Sun, also shows the first results. Technical, but the first chapters are suitable for a general audience. The film is organised into the following format:
