This radar image centred over the city of Kathmandu (large bright area), the capital of Nepal, situated in the Kathmandu Valley. Visible landmarks starting from the city centre are the Roni Pokhari, Ratna Park and Tundikel (gray rectangular area), the Baghmati and Vishnumati rivers, and to the east is the Tribhuvan airport. Further east are the cities of Thimi and Bhaktapur.
