NASA's Space Shuttle Discovery on Launch Pad 39A

CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. – NASA's Space Shuttle Discovery, on the Launch Pad 39,on 23 August 2009 ahead of launch to the International Space Station on STS-128. Discovery will deliver new equipment to the Station, including science and storage racks, a freezer to store research samples, a new sleeping compartment and the COLBERT treadmill.
