This Envisat Medium Resolution Imaging Spectrometer (MERIS) image, acquired on 23 April 2011 in Full Resolution Mode, shows a sunny Scandinavia in spring, with some snow still present in the elevated areas as well as some sea ice in the Gulf of Botnia.

Some MIRAVI images are very large (e.g. 50 MB). The browser and/or client computer may not be able to visualise such large images. To overcome this, save the image using the browser option "Save link as..." by right clicking on the links relative to the image (JPG or BMP). The image can then be opened locally using an image viewer.
