Comparison of 11 July 2015 and 5 July 2016 Sentinel-1 images, covering the Hubei, Jiangxi and Anhui provinces, highlighting that as a consequence of El Nino, this year’s water is overflowing everywhere in the Yangtze flood plain. Reservoirs and lakes are completely filled, islands within the Yangtze Riverbed overflowed. At top left of the image we can see how the Wuhan City neighbourhood is affected (blue areas).
