Electrochemical measurement setup

During his internship within the Spaceship EAC team, Sebastian Rohde worked on a method for extracting oxygen from lunar regolith, or moon dust, at ESA's Astronaut Centre in Cologne. This picture shows the electrochemical measurement setup (a glass cell, filled with ionic liquid, several electrodes, a gas inlet and a thermometer) to investigate the mixture of ionic liquid and regolith and its regeneration for repeated use.
