Commercial satellites sky-rocket in low-Earth orbit

In the last few years there has been an enormous increase in commercial satellites launched to low-Earth orbit. Many of these are being launched into large constellations in order to provide communication services around the globe. While they bring great benefits, they pose a challenge to long-term sustainability.
