Vega spacecraft

A model of the Vega Solar System probe, representative of the spacecraft design of Vega-1 and Vega-2. Launched in December 1984, these were two of the first spacecraft to study Comet Halley, together with ESA's Giotto mission and the twin Japanese spacecraft Sakigake and Suisei.
