From 28 November to 9 December 2011 the United Nations Climate Change Conference will be held in Durban, South Africa, bringing together representatives of the world's governments, international organizations and civil society.
The discussions will seek solutions to face the potential dangers of climate change, following previous global climate summits.
The world's decision makers now benefit from the data gathered by satellites orbiting our planet and in particular European Space Agency's fleet dedicated to Earth Observation, collecting information on every variable that affects Earths climate and helping getting the overall picture like assembling pieces of a giant puzzle.
