ESA’s visiting artist, Shane Sutton, explains the background to his Climate from Space street art exhibition to be unveiled at the Living Planet Symposium on 13–17 May 2019 in Milan, Italy. The Dublin-based street artist is creating several graffiti pieces inspired by the work of ESA’s Climate Change Initiative, a research programme responsible for the development and stewardship of satellite-derived climate datasets to support the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change and the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change.
