Iguazú Falls - CHRIS image

This CHRIS image acquired 2 September 2003 shows the Iguazú Falls situated in the Parque Nacional Iguazú on the borders of Brazil, Argentina and Paraguay. It consists of 275 individual waterfalls that often run together moving at least 5000 cubic metres per second over a 70-metre-high cliff. Visible at the base of the image is Cataratas Del Iguazu Airport airport dedicated to this popular tourist attraction.
