Magnetic testing

One of the Swarm satellites undergoing magnetic tests at IABG’s Magnetic Field Simulation Facility in Ottobrunn, Germany. The tests are carried out in a magnetically clean environment – hence the wooden floor. The satellite is on its side with its 4 m-long boom folded up.
