This radar image shows an area of 100 Km swath width centred precisely over Tunis, the capital of Tunisia (bright area) and Lake Tunis.
Details of the city surroundings may be observed such as the shipping channel that connects the city with the Mediterranean Sea and the airport. The two black areas on opposite sides of the city are intermittent lakes.
